Major Responsibilities •Provide technical support for production areas •Develop/implement work station/plant layouts using I.E./Six Sigma and Lean principles •Lead introduction team for change notices and new product introductions •Implementation of processes and systems to improve unit quality •Develop and initiate cost improvement projects •Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting •Write SOE's and provide SLM input for method sheets and travel tickets •Deliver takt attainment improvements •Develop units per man hour improvement plans •Execute effectivity improvement projects for the value streams •Deliver standard work in adherence with specific work assignments and job functions Key Competencies •Bachelors in Engineering required. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree preferred. •2-3 years manufacturing experience preferred • Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing processes •Green Belt certified or willing to obtain •Experience with line layouts, balances, and support desired •Knowledge of Excel, Autocad and Access •Experienced with Allen Bradley PLC desired •Team player •Must be willing to work any shift If you share our passion for inspiring progress—for bringing about bold shifts in how people, economies and societies operate—then you belong with Ingersoll Rand.
