About the Team
The incumbent will belong to Sales Operations and Planning Group of about 6 individuals. This team is composed of primarily analytical and process-focused personnel. The team supports global sales & marketing organization working closely with Sales Managers, Directors, & VPs
About the Job
Business Operations Analyst will work closely with internal customers within our Global Sales, Services and Marketing organization, as well as other members of the Operations and Planning team, to provide standard and ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Responsibilities
*Report design, development and distribution; including working with customers to define requirements and translate into specifications, manipulation of raw data into presentation-quality graphs/tables, and interfacing with IT organization to provide report automation.
*Creation and timely distribution of standard weekly, monthly and quarterly “performance vs. target” reports.
*Creation and timely distribution of various ad-hoc reports, as requested by Sales and Marketing leadership and other Operations and Planning team members.
*Support management with creation of presentations for periodic performance reviews and management meetings.
*Training of report-end users on report systems access and data interpretation.
*Conducting various sales and marketing analyses as needed.
Qualifications
*Minimum holding a Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferable.
*Overall relevant experience of 2 -5 years.
*2 years of experience with quantitative analysis, problem solving, and/or database management, or advanced academic experience in business, statistics, or related field.
*2 years of experience strong analytical background, with functional knowledge of statistics as applied in a business environment.
*2 years of experience strong working knowledge of Excel and intermediate to advanced user skills with PowerPoint, Access, and Word applications.
Additional Skills
Organized with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, manage own time effectively, and effectively work with a diverse user group (technical and business end users).
Strong presentation and presentation development skills.
