Job Description

The Sr. .Net Website Developer for C#, ASP.Net and MVC Technology at Scouts360 will be responsible for implanting a wide variety of dynamic websites, mobile site, mobile apps, social media integrations, and custom software implementations. The effective Sr. Developer must have extensive experience with creating and writing C#.Net code for dynamic web sites and other interactive products using JavaScript and HTML/CSS. The ideal candidate will be a motivated problem-solver with a positive, inquisitive attitude and will also be well versed in a broad variety of web technologies.
Responsibilities
Work on small teams (and independently) on a multitude of large-scale web solutions, typically based on the Microsoft platform.
Ability to lead and mentor junior to mid-level developers.
Provide innovative solutions to the most difficult of technical challenges and identify opportunities for technology to deliver value-added services and programs to enhance clients business results
Continuously innovate and improve development skills in the areas of software architecture and estimating while building industry leading solutions.
Report directly to the onsite and US management team to provide comprehensive coverage and accountability across multiple projects.
Participate in the development of one or more projects at a time, and ensure that all deliverables are code reviewed and in line with industry best practices.
Coordinate with members of external and client technology teams. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, potential clients and other business stake holders.
Ensure that development quality is met via consistent code review process

Education and/or related training or experience equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field.
3 years software development life cycle (SDLC) experience in web based applications.
1 years working experience of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2005 is required.
1 years programming experience in C#/ASP.NET (Web applications, Web services, Windows Forms applications)
1 years TSQL (Stored Procedures, Functions etc)
Experience using JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS, HTML, as well as XML / XSLT
Experience on C#, .NET 2.0, 3.5 and 4.0 frameworks. XML, XSLT, NUnit, mocking frameworks, ASP.Net, MVC, MVC2, MVC3 and MVP frameworks, Microsoft Enterprise Library, Linq, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Practical knowledge of Design Patterns and Object oriented programming. Proficiency in Agile Development Practices, Automation Testing, SVN, Jira, TDD, pair programming.
Experience with multiple development methodologies.
Experience with web services and third party integration
A self-starter in a fast paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with team members, business stake holders, users and vendors.
